Delete your account

Deleting your account erases your health data. It cannot be undone.
In the app
1. Open Yovitai and sign in. 2. On the home screen, tap the person icon in the top right to open Profile. 3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account", below "Sign out". 4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap "Delete forever". Deletion happens immediately. There is no grace period and no way to undo it, so export anything you want to keep first — "Export my data" is on the same screen. If you only want your health data gone but want to keep the account, use "Reset my data" on the Profile screen instead.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". We write from that address only to confirm it is you, and we never ask for your password. We complete email requests within one month of receiving them, and reply to tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
Your account and everything in it: • Your profile and login • Lab results, imaging results and the documents you uploaded — the files themselves are removed from storage, not just hidden • Weight and other health metrics, including anything synced from Apple Health or Health Connect • Conditions, medications, supplements and their dose logs • AI chat conversations, recommendations and health articles • Notification settings and history, and your consent records
What is kept, and for how long
• Backups: our nightly backups contain a copy of your data until they expire. Every backup is deleted automatically after 7 days, so a week after you delete your account, no copy remains in them. • A record that you asked: the date, the type of request and the email address it came from. We keep this because we have to be able to show that an erasure request was carried out — deleting it would delete the proof. • Security logs: entries such as "account deleted" are kept, no longer linked to your account, for up to 7 years. • Error reports: technical records of requests that failed, which hold no health data, are deleted after 30 days at most. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in your store account so you are not charged again.
